This May 30–June 2, the UIC Office of Global Engagement team attended the 75th NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo in Washington, DC. NAFSA: Association of International Educators is the world’s largest and most diverse nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange.
This year’s conference focus was “Inspiring an Inclusive Future.” The global event was attended by thousands of professionals from across the field and international educators from more than 100 nations.
According to Neal McCrillis, Vice Provost for Global Engagement, this was the first major national conference where the Office of Global Engagement team was able to attend. “This gave us the option to rekindle our international education passion, meet potential partners . This was also great for team building, helping us work even more closely together towards OGE’s common goals.”
