Recipient of the OGE Outstanding Faculty & Staff Award
Yadira Ramirez, International Services Coordinator for the Office of International Services, has been recognized with the OGE Outstanding Faculty & Staff Award for her unwavering dedication, outstanding service, and consistent support of OGE’s mission to expand UIC’s global reach. Yadira’s work reflects excellence across all areas of performance—she goes above and beyond expectations, solves problems with insight and care, and consistently uplifts both students and colleagues. Her impact on the OGE community is both meaningful and inspiring.
Anthony Terenzio
Recipient of the OGE Outstanding Faculty & Staff Rising Star Award
Anthony Terenzio, Assistant Director of the Study Abroad Office, was honored with the OGE Rising Star Award, which recognizes emerging leaders within the Office of Global Engagement. Anthony has made a significant impact by overseeing a diverse portfolio of international programs, managing pre-departure orientations, and collaborating with faculty to create enriching study abroad opportunities. His dedication to enhancing student experiences, coupled with his passion for international partnerships and faculty-led programming, makes him a key asset to OGE. Anthony’s proactive, collaborative approach and leadership in global engagement make him a standout emerging professional in the field.
