OGE joins Naadam festivities at Chicago Mongolia consulate Heading link
July 6, the Office of Global Engagement Vice Provost, Dr, Neal McCrillis, attended the Naadam festivities hosted by the consulate of Mongolia at the Union League Club of Chicago.
Representing OGE, Dr McCrillis met some of the estimated three to four thousand Chicagoans who identify as Mongolians. He also had the pleasure of watching traditional Mongolian Naadam performers and meeting with Mongolia Consul General Battsetseg Tuvshintugs
The Mongolian consulate opened in Chicago in 2022. It is one of only four Mongolian diplomatic posts in the U.S.
