Lecture Series Explores Link Between Cold War and Migration Patterns

On Thursday, March 21, the Allan Lerner Lecture Series in Foreign Affairs hosted the Consuls General of El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras and Guatemala for a discussion titled, "The Link Between U.S. Cold War Intervention in Central America and Current Migration Patterns." During the program the Consuls revisited aspects of the Cold War in Central America and quoted Congress and President Reagan from primary sources. The lecture series is co-hosted by the OGE - Office of International Affairs and the Department of Political Sciences.
