Migration and Indigenous Peoples Colloquium

UNAM and the University of Illinois Chicago welcome researchers and academics to participate in the Migration and Indigenous Peoples Colloquium (Encuentro sobre Migración y Pueblos Originarios). The Colloquium will be conducted in Spanish. The focus areas include:

  • Migration and religion (Migración y religión)
  • Indigenous Peoples (Pueblos Originarios)
  • Cinema and migration (Cine y migración)
  • Human rights (Derechos humanos)
  • Migration and the environment (Migración y medio ambiente)
  • Indigenous languages and social media (Lenguas originarias y redes sociales)
  • Variations on indigenous languages (Variación lingüística de lenguas originarias)
  • Recent publications (Novedades editoriales)
