U.S. Department of State Program Connects UIC Faculty with International Leaders

On Friday, April 5, Dr. McKenzie met with senior delegates from India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka at the World Chicago offices in downtown Chicago.

Dr. Evan McKenzie, Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, met with senior delegates from India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka who are sponsored by the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program. Prof. McKenzie and his distinguished guests discussed ethics, accountability and transparency in civil society, economic development, business and government.

The Office of International Affairs within the Office of Global Engagement facilitates official visits to campus and promotes networking between UIC faculty and international visitors.
