Governor Pritzker Signs the RISE Bill Legalizing Financial Aid to DACA Students

On June 21st, UIC welcomed Governor Pritzker today for the signing of the RISE bill legalizing financial aid to DACA students. UIC's very own Amalia Pallares and the staff of the offices of Diversity and Undergraduate Affairs worked on this bill and were there to witness the bill being signed.
