UIC Welcomes International Students to Campus
UIC welcomed over 130 new international students to the campus community in January. The students have come to Chicago from around the world, seeking out UIC to study programs ranging from intensive English to engineering. The Tutorium in Intensive English, UIC Global, and the Office of International Services - units within the Office of the Vice Provost for Global Engagement – organized events to orient the group to the academic, cultural, social and logistical aspects of life as an international student.
